Wheel Barometer by Pochaine of Newcastle with Inlays

I.Pochaine of Newcastle , Barometer circa 1820

An Inlaid mahogany wheel Barometer with 8" silvered barometer dial finely engraved , encased in a concave bezel and covered with glass, a silvered Thermometer scale with Alcohol tube , the makers name I.Pochaine of Newcastle who is recorded in the Barometer Makers book by Edwin Banfield at 1811 - 1820 a great period for Barometers and this has the classic shell and flower inlays , also an Architectural pediment with brass finial to finish.
