Henry Capt -Grande Sonnerie with Alarm.

A superb 'Grande Sonnerie' carriage clock in a satin gilt , gorge case with an engraved masked dial and push repeat with alarm  . Henry Capt of Geneva was the son of Henry Capt (1773-1841)  and won first prize at the Geneva Observatory in 1878 and 1879 for his watch and Clockmaking . He also won an award in 1882 for a Palladium spring . This clock has the stamp for Drocourt on the back plate and Henry Lepine as H.L. to the 'front plate' .
