Oval , Gong Strike Carriage clock
17 x 12 x 10cm
A fine Oval Carraige clock in good,original condition . The movement is Gong striking on the hour , the Platform escapement is the original and is working perfectly with a strong action , the polished case is of the earlier style with simple arched handle and Gorge shape base , the back plate is stamped with the logo "J-N " with a fork , and we are currently researching to see who this maker was although we know from the construction it most probably dates circa 1880 (please click the image to see the macro photos ) A fine Carriage clock made in Paris . This clock has been fully dismantled including the escapement and fully overhauled , Oiled and Tested and is sold with a 12 month R.T.B Guarantee . Check out the video for this clock on our Channel.
