French Carriage clock , repeater
A fine well proportioned gong strike Carriage clock with Push repeat and silvered dial sight , Roman numeral dial with arabic minutes , Stop work on the going side , original Lever platform and Key . Striking on the Hour and Half hours and with the push repeat button you can repeat the last hour at will . It also retains the original Jewelled Lever escapement which is silvered and engraved . Although unsigned this is most certainly the work of one of the better carriage clock producers like Henry Marc of Paris . Numbered 22617 . circa 1890
