A well proportioned longcase clock by Isaac Hopkins of London who is recorded working from 1786 in G.H.Baillie's - Watch and Clockmakers of the World. This fine clock shows a full brass and silvered dial with a Strike - silent hand to the arch. A finely matted dial center with the makers name on a cartouche. Calendar aperture and seconds dial, as well as the full silvered chapter ring . A good quality and substantial 8 day duration movement which strikes the hour on a bell . A superb 'Flame' mahogany case with the classic long trunk door with 'bridge top' and quarter columns to both sides. Fully overhauled and is sold with a 12 month Guarantee.
