Norris of Wittlesea

A small mahogany longcase clock with painted dial showing roman numerals a seconds dial ,gilt brass hands and makers name , The arched hood has full fluted  columns with brass capitals and a good fret above the arch . This longcase clock of small proportions runs for a week on a single wind and will strike the hour on a bell , although this clock does not have a strike-silent facility we would be able to add our own 'adjustment' if required . T.Norris of Whittlsea is listed working from 1840 in the book Watch and clockmakers of the World .
