Oak Gallery Top Mantel Clock
A Solid Oak , Gallery Topped Mantel clock with mellow Gong Strike on the Hour and half hour , the full silvered engraved dial with Blued steel Fluer-de -lys hands , Cast and Machined Brass Bezel with bevelled glass . Made by Winterhalder and Hofmeier circa 1880. (Winterlderhalder had his first clockmaking workshop in Schwarzenbach,Germany in 1810, he then in 1850 started working in partnership with Anton Hofmeier. This clock is stamped W & H, Sch . Sold by Camerer, Kuss and Co of Oxford Street , London circa 1890
