A French Lancet top Mantel Clock
A French 'Lancet Top' mantel clock of 8 day duration , striking hourly and half hourly on a gong , a white convex enamel dial showing Roman Numerals polished blued steel Hands and a Cast brass bezel surround . The case has a good level of detail with a reeded canted edge leading to the Lancet arch being ebonised and offering a good contrast to the flame Mahogany ,standing on bun feet and rear locking door , made in Paris around 1890 Stamped Maroue .
