Boulle Clock R & Co Paris

A French 'Boulle' mantel clock of 8 day duration , striking hourly and half hourly on a gong .The twelve section cartouche dial showing Roman numerals polished blued steel hands and a cast brass decorative bezel surround. The case is typical of Boulle work ,after Andre-Charles Boulle and has a good level of detail with the sides also being fully decorated. Standing on 'C' scroll bracket feet and a fine finial to the top. Made in Paris around 1880. Stamped and numbered. It is worth remembering that all our clocks have had a full dismantle / overhaul unlike many others for sale online and carry a full 12 month Guarantee in writing , which adds to the value and longevity of this fine clock .
