An inlaid rosewood mantel clock by Thomas of Paris , a fine French clockmaker ,with the early style suspension and pendulum , A white signed enamel dial with a glass slide in front of the dial which can be raised to wind the clock , it also has a small Lenticel below the carry Handle to view the escapement , fine inlaid boxwood stringing to both sides of the case around the Diamond with boxwood line inlay around , A fine French 8 day movement engraved with the makers name under the French Bell , polished blue steel Hands . Standing 24cms small ! (with Handle raised) . Circa 1840
